Penetrating foreign body neck

 

Shristi Gurung, a 11 year old child from Butwal; was brought to college of medical sciences, Bharatpur with a wooden stick penetrating thro’ and thro’ into the neck.

The College of Medical Sciences has conducted 22 free Orthopedics camps during the months of March & April, 2006. Dr. Lupo, Club Foot Specialist form Belgium has also participated in the camps.

 

The College of Medical Sciences Family has also contributed one day's salary for the treatment of the patients of Jaana-Andolan.

 

The College of Medical Sciences has provided free treatment to the people who are injured/effected during the Jaana-Andolan movement.

 

Keeping in view of the high maternal mortality rate, the College of Medical Sciences is providing the free treatment to the pregnant woman.

 

College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur will charge no fee in maternity-related treatment and other surgeries. The decision to this effect was made by COMS taking note of the high pregnancy-related deaths due to inaccessible services, The College has waived fees for medical check-up, surgery, food, bed charges, ambulance services to and from hospital.

 

The College of Medical Sciences has provided 150 beds in the CMS Teaching Hospital to the poor and needy patients free of cost at par with the Government Hospital.

 

The CMS has started free Ambulance services.

 

The CMS has conducted free health check up camps in the Bharatpur Jail on 24th and 25th April, 2006 and distributed free medicines to the 250 inmates of the Jail. It has performed free investigations including special investigations viz., Ultra sonography, Pulmonary function tests and all the clinical sciences specialist doctors are participated in this camp.

 

The College of Medical Sciences has made operations free of Cost
